Viewpoint on the lake of Longemer.
Its name would come from the fall in the precipice of an old horse, belonging to the farmer of the stubble of Fachepremont. Since this accident, the rock would have been called in patois ?lè reuche do vié chevau?, the rock of the old horse. In Lorraine patois, in the singular, the horse was called ?lo chevau?, but taken for a plural, the French speakers added an ?x?.
Warning: the access to this viewpoint is by a technical path. Good shoes are required.
