Espace d'Art Roger Gobron

You'll be welcome at Jean-Noël and Charmian's art gallery in the priory of Trégoux, a hamlet halfway between Concots and Crégols. Here you'll find works by the Belgian painter Roger Gobron. Born in Brussels in 1899, Gobron was much influenced by the expressionist movement which he successfully integrated into his numerous watercolours. Permanent exhibition of his paintings, films shown relating the life and work of the artist and his wife, the poetess Marie-Jo Gobron (1916-2008), who was the sister-in-law of the famous poet Maurice Carême - readings and collections of poetry, monograph and catalogue of the works.. There are also DVDs, books and photographs by the film maker Jean-Noël Gobron.
