As far back as we can remember, our family has always cultivated vines. But it was in the 19th century that our first cuvées were produced. From father to son, our know-how is passed on, and each one makes his own contribution.
Our estate comprises 7 hectares in the Côte des Bar region, spread over 5 villages and 18 parcels. As owner-growers, we make our champagnes from our own grapes. Oh, how much love - how much care - we give to each one. Our terroirs are our garden, and so we take the greatest care of them.
Richard Cheurlin is the 4th generation. He set up in 1978 and gave a new lease of life to our company: "Lutte raisonnée", plot-by-plot selection and vinification, barrel ageing, the quest for perfect ripeness...
While our know-how is ancestral and family-owned, youth and modernity are also our current concerns. Since the 2000s, my brother and I have continued along this path, taking the protection of our land to heart with cleaner, more environmentally-friendly viticulture.
Only our finest cuvées and vintages are included in our wine library. Aged for over 10 years on lees, our wines are disgorged at the very last moment, for optimum conservation. Please consult us for the years.
If you'd like to visit our beautiful region... we'd be delighted to welcome you to our cellars, flute in hand, to share a part of our history with you.
Lucie & Sébastien
