Although recent (1997), the bridge that leads us there takes us into picturesque alleys where, at random along the way, the church of Saint-Lambert appears to us. Dating from the 18th century, it houses an altarpiece consisting of three painted oak compartments, 2m high and 2m10 wide (Triptych "Passion, Crucifixion and Resurrection", registered in the register of movable objects classified as historical monuments). A little out of the way, but listed on the municipal territory of Ham-sur-Meuse, the tunnel of Ham-sur-Meuse is a unique attraction in the North of France. Borrowed by yachtsmen, this tunnel is 565 metres long and 6.50 metres wide and simply avoids the loop that the Meuse forms around the commune of Chooz, which is not navigable and is 8 km long. Quite a shortcut!
