Located 500 m from the village, accessible via a path running alongside the Gartempe river, this small fountain is near the old cemetery. Flush with the ground and circular in shape, it is bordered by a granite border. The bottom is a granite block into which a circular hole has been cut. Renowned for its freshness and regular flow, it is said to possess miraculous virtues. Many people came to bathe body parts affected by eczema and other skin diseases, or clothes, such as women who soaked the diapers of afflicted children and laid them on the nearby lime tree. Coins were then thrown into the fountain to grant healing wishes. Pilgrimages were also organized until around 1900.
This belief is said to have preserved the fountain, but its virtues were due more to the fact that it was used for healing
