The Collège des Doctrinaires was originally an educational institution, founded in 1630 in Lectoure in Gascony
The building was transformed into an annex of the town's hospital in 180. After the closure of the hospital in 2006, it was rehabilitated in 2018 to be transformed into a hotel which benefits from a direct access, by an underground passage crossing the rue Nationale, to the hotel of Goulard where the thermal baths of Lectoure are. On this occasion it will regain its former name, the Hotel du Collège des Doctrinaires, opened in 2019
