If you love nature, hiking and authentic encounters, then you've come to the right place!
Le Hohwald is a small mountain resort situated between 600 and 1,100 meters above sea level, nestled in the heart of a fir forest.
The village boasts over 120 kilometers of marked trails, so there's something for everyone, from health trails for children to day hikes for the more sporty. In summer, the air is pleasant and stays cool, even in the hottest weather. In autumn, the landscape turns orange and red, a delight for photo enthusiasts. In winter, young and old alike await the first snowflakes, eager to see the white coat settle in and enjoy the joys of tobogganing.
Not to be missed:
For nature lovers: the waterfall, impressive and refreshing.
For cheese lovers: the Lindenhof farm, a guaranteed tasty discovery.
For children: the kuntz square; playground, zip-line, mini-golf, giant chessboard? what else?
For picnic enthusiasts, there are several picnic areas in the village. And if you fancy a taste of the local produce, head for one of these friendly inns.
