The Suzanne and Marcel Suarès Museum of Bayonne Judaism is located in the heart of the Saint-Esprit district of Bayonne, in the west side pavilion of the synagogue (property of the Association Cultuelle Israélite de Bayonne-Biarritz / ACIBB).
This museum traces the history and traditions of Bayonne Judaism and evokes the place of this community in the city. On the first floor, you can discover the history of the Jews of Bayonne, from their arrival in the 16th century to the present day. On the first floor, the daily life of Bayonne's Jewish families is evoked through a selection of emblematic objects, both past and present.
