The first screening was screened in this place on July 10, 1914, a few days before the war, its name Excelsior. After two major transformations in 1952 and 1978, the establishment lowered the curtain in October 2006 for major modernization work. Once the financial means are available, work began on August 4, 2008 for an opening on April 24, 2009. The cinema Turenne is composed of 3 theaters offering an eclectic programming. 3D cinema possible. Since 2011, the Turenne cinema has switched to digital projection.
