Built in the 19th century, it replaced an old ruined building, an outbuilding of the Chateau de la Mothe. Today it is attached to the village of La Vernède. Rebuilt thanks to donations from the inhabitants of the villages of La Vernède and Serre. It overlooks the Sagne Jurade pond and sometimes becomes home to an exhibition in the summer season.
