Ligny-le-Ribault is a paradise for nature lovers, set in a landscape of forests (home to one of the finest deer populations in France), ponds, moorland, and heathland, and crisscrossed by miles of footpaths. The banks of the Cosson with the conservatory of willows, the picturesque wash-house converted into a picnic shelter, the treasures of the Ecomuseum, the half-timbered and brick houses of Solognac, the church of Saint-Martin with its contemporary stained-glass windows - all invite you to set off and discover this charming town.
The countryside is lined with sumptuous châteaux, the most impressive of which is Bon-Hôtel, inspired by the châteaux of Chambord and Azay-le-Rideau and designed to welcome guests of prestigious hunting hunts.
