PLAGE DE LA BALEINE

Sète?s Plage de la Baleine stretches along a beautiful pedestrian promenade (Voie Verte - the Route d?Adge is slightly set back) and boasts fine sand. Some twenty access points are available (from number 25 to 45). The first, number 25, and the 43 have access for people with reduced mobility. The Baleine beach is only supervised at entrance 41, while the first-aid post for the entrances closest to the town center is located on the Lido beach (door 22). The site is very pleasant, with small dunes and large stretches of sand. There's a fine view of Mont Saint Clair from here. Note that in some areas, there are submerged rocks (e.g. at gate 28). In summer, there's a straw hut.

Note that there is a kitesurfing area on this beach (accesses no. 26 and 27).
