Listed among the "most beautiful villages of France", the fortified village was built on the hillside around the Carolingian abbey of the 8th century. Narrow and winding streets, beautiful stone houses and conviviality are the order of the day in this charming little medieval village, perfumed with aniseed by the Troubat company, which makes the famous little white sweets that were already famous in the 17th century. For a guided tour of the village, ask at the Maison au Donataire or by phone.
