The association Le jardin aux abeilles, works to develop beekeeping and share good beekeeping practices with a wide public.
School apiary.
Le Jardin Aux Abeilles has had its own school apiary since 2015. This apiary school owes its existence to the will and hard work of all members, but also to the generosity of the commune of Magnac Bourg, which made land available to the association to set up 7 hives and a building (former pumping station) to house equipment and enable members to meet. We have also installed an apiscope, a large vertical beehive with side windows for observing the bees.
The association's volunteers invite young visitors to discover the world of bees through the study of their behavior.
