Asnapio helps to go back in time by discovering habitats from prehistory to the Middle Ages. These reconstructions were made possible by regional excavations and by using ancestral techniques. This practice of experimental archaeology or archaeology of the gesture makes it possible to find and show the gestures and techniques of construction of our ancestors by building the dwellings under the same conditions as in various past times. The guided or self-guided tour goes from an Upper Paleolithic tent to a Neolithic or Bronze Age shelter, from a Gallic farm to a Gallo-Roman villa and to buildings from the Middle Ages. Educational workshops are also regularly organized.
