Bordeneuve-Cazaubon is a comfortable gîte, situated in a quiet and romantic location, surrounded by vineyards, in the beautiful nature of the Gers. The department of Gers is famous for its hospitality, tranquillity and gastronomy, all three of which are present to a large extent. The location of the gîte is ideally situated to take advantage of the various activities in the area. Nearby is the 80 hectare Lake Uby. Here you can enjoy various water sports and also angling. A little further away is the famous spa town of Barbotan-les-Thermes with its thermal baths, casino, restaurants, shops and its famous weekly market on Wednesday mornings. If you like cultural tourism, you can visit the beautiful local churches, the typical castles, the historical villages and their fortifications. For example Larressingle, Fourcès and Lupiac, the birthplace of d'Artagnan, to name but a few.
