Rediscover the Odyssey as you've never seen it before!
A myth, an actor, twenty-seven characters, three crowds and a ram. Rediscover the Odyssey as you've never seen it before!
"If you think about it, the whole thing started with an apple..."
Ulysses returns home at last, after ten years of war and another ten of wandering and captivity to immortal nymphomaniacs. He's lived through storms, crossed paths with monsters, giants and cyclops, been dragged off to the underworld by the gods and bumped into each other's more moronic companions. And now he's had enough!
On his way home, he tells his hosts about his misfortunes, and they help him reach the shores of his beloved Ithaca. But has Penelope been waiting for him? What has become of his son Telemachus? And who are all these guys squatting in his palace?
Through twenty-seven characters, three crowds and a ram, Camille Prioul revisits the Odyssey in her own way in 1h25, in a storm of laughter, anger, fear and melancholy...
Ulysses' love for Penelope is the only thing that counts, regardless of the years, "because we are mortal, because I am hers and she is mine, and we only have one life to be reunited".
