Description

The Hoste ponds, two mirrors of beauty and poetry in a setting of phragmites, fields and forests. A harrier comes to fish. A great crested grebe parades. Fish silhouettes disturb the surface of the water. Time stands still. Breathe, you're somewhere else... The rare bittern and least bittern also find refuge here, alongside the amphibians and numerous mammals that populate the meadows dotted with wild orchids. The fishing huts on the "lower" pond offer a resolutely unique landscape that you won't find anywhere else. Two bird-watching stations let you see without being seen. At Hoste, relaxation and a change of scenery are guaranteed.
