Whether you're a nature or culture enthusiast, you'll find what you're looking for in the Pays Cathare. Numerous historic sites, such as the Château d'Aguilar and the Abbaye de Fontfroide, are waiting to be discovered, as are the many marked hiking and mountain-biking trails departing from the gîte. Narbonne is 36 kms away and Perpignan 40 kms. You'll find the first shops in Durban, just 7 kms from the village.
The gîte is set in a village house on 3 levels, with a warm, rustic decor: Garden level: 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds (90cm) and 1 double bed (140cm), shower room, WC. First floor: large living room with wood-burning stove (wood included), kitchen, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds (80 cm), adjoining WC with washbasins. Second floor: mezzanine overlooking living room with TV-DVD area, 1 bedroom 1 with 140 cm bed for 2, shower room, WC. Outside, garden furniture and barbecue available. There is no private parking, but the village parking lot is nearby, and you can unload your belongings in front of the house.
In winter, a 2KW fee is included in the services per day and per person. Beyond that, a charge will be made. Don't hesitate to ask your host.
