A first class observatory. This site is a very interesting viewpoint. Indeed, this high location of 60 meters above the Aisne, with a steep slope makes it a first-class observatory, which the Germans had used as such during the war. The observer discovers there on nearly 180° an extremely extended zone of the valley of the Aisne; fifteen villages rather distant from each other can be discovered there without leaving the site. In the vicinity, you can find the discovery trail on Rimbaud and the departure point for a walk on the Crêtes.
