Etang Neuf

The 22-hectare pond is located in the Nouvelle Aquitaine region, while the shelter and part of the grounds, as well as the reception facilities, are in the Auvergne Rhône Alpes region. This fragment of territory is identified with a catchment area and the ancestral customs of the two territories, which are in fact separated by administrative boundaries, but where the inhabitants are linked by a history and naturally perpetuate their customs and lifestyles.
A pathway around the pond has been created, with an observation post for animals and flora, and footbridges have been built to cross some of the wetlands around the pond, which are made of wood and accessible to people with reduced mobility.
