The Oberschloss, or Upper Castle, is a beautiful bourgeois house built by the Austrian Barons owners of Romanswiller, the Haindels. Built in the middle of the 18th century, the castle was occupied by the Cerf Berr family for about ten years, then by other families including the last one, Jacques Metzger. He set up a large family farm which welcomed several generations. The outbuilding was sold to the Commune in 2012.
