At the foot of the Vosges mountains, in a green setting, the "Mémoires du Textile" museum is located in the former textile factory (1850-1978), which preserves the memory and know-how of thousands of employees. Here, machines come to life before the visitor's very eyes to explain every stage in the manufacturing process, from cotton bales to the final fabric. Calicotier, cotton spinner, weaver, warper... so many lost trades and gestures to rediscover.
Open Thursdays and Sundays from 2pm to 5pm, May to October.
