LA BERGERIE DE STRAITURE

The flock consists of 150 ewes grazing on around 30 hectares. Véronique and Olivier are landless farmers: they look after the land of local authorities and private individuals. Activities are offered all year round, depending on the season, and the sheepfold was approved as an "educational farm" in 2004.
There's also a boutique selling Véronique's pure wool creations. Training courses on working with wool are regularly organized.
They both take part in numerous festive and cultural events, host conferences, organize exhibitions, etc.
The sheepfold is a place where people can meet, exchange ideas and learn about a rich and varied agricultural activity in a preserved environment. It has received the eco-trophy from the Parc Naturel Régional des Ballons des Vosges for its actions in favor of the environment.
