The concept was born in Rome in the 50's, bakers had the idea to produce large slabs of pizza cooked in the oven and cut them into rectangular slices. The Romans adopted it in no time and it is now institutional to eat a slice of pizza (salty or sweet), by hand of course, in the street, or more comfortably installed in your favorite restaurant (at home what!!)?a tutte le ore della giornata! YES? you understood well? there is no time to enjoy a pizza al taglio? to settle in a temporal rift? and to let yourself be transported to the heart of the eternal city.
