Once the site of a much-frequented pilgrimage, the Saint-Thibault fountain, rebuilt at the end of the 19th century, preserves the memory of an ancient sacred spring with therapeutic virtues. A few hundred meters from the village, on the edge of the road bearing its name, stands a small brick building with an original silhouette. Erected in 1890 on the site of an ancient consecrated fountain, it replaced an earlier building that had fallen into ruin. When it was rebuilt, the spring was slightly diverted by means of an underground conduit, passing under the forest road, to reach the current structure. The virtue of its water was that it cured Sologne fevers and measles, and the reputation of the Saint Thibault fountain spread far beyond the modest boundaries of the commune.
