After a long walk along the path linking Anzême to Glénic, you come across a small granite trough that collects water from a spring in the Bois de Valette. This open-air fountain is surmounted by a recent cross bearing a representation of Saint-Menour. Saint Menour was invoked to bring rain. Pilgrimages took place from the Glénic church: a statue of the saint was immersed in the spring while prayers were recited: 'Saint-Menour, Saint-Menour, si te ne fa plore aillours, fa plore au Pouzadour (name of the nearby hamlet)'. Coins were thrown into the fountain as offerings. People also came to the fountain to pray for a husband. Young women would stick a pin in the wooden cross to make their wish come true. It is said that they could see the face of their beloved in the water of the fountain.
