A small dog scares a group of geese.
This work by Tom Frantzen has been installed on the old swing bridge, Quai Dampierre, since the end of 2018.
This humorous and poetic work represents a small dog scaring a group of geese and making them fly away. The group is reminiscent of the cranes that fly over the Aube department every year.
"Hey, wait for me! What idiots are these birds! Why do they fly away? I just want to play with them. And I can't fly. I end up like an idiot on this concrete thing, with no way to get And if I throw myself into the canal, I'll stink like a wet dog, just like that other one over there with his merry flock. If they had at least waited for me, they could have carried me on their backs while flying. Like Saint-Exupéry, seeing Troyes from the air must be incredible. They really aren't nice to shatter my dreams.
