The Meuse is 950 kilometres long and rises on the Langres plateau in France, in the commune of Le Châtelet-sur-Meuse. The river flows through the departments of Haute-Marne (52), Vosges (88), Meuse (55) and Ardennes (08). After 486 km, the Meuse enters Belgium.
You can cycle along the Meuse from its source to its mouth in the North Sea in the Netherlands, a total of 1,050 km.
