Accessing the Maquis, in the "Coppice Oak Hill" at the place called "Combe Vinaigre", is done via a forest path opposite the GRT Gaz station. A twenty-minute walk takes you to the heart of the forest. You will discover the place where the resistors lived and died fighting. The traces of the camp remain, and the tranquility and gentleness of the location would make you forget the tragedy that took place there if it weren't for this stele... An interpretation panel featuring texts and drawings recounts the history of the Maquis. It is a walk to be taken with family where respect and remembrance combine with the beauty and atmosphere of the undergrowth.
