Cap Gris Nez, the Pas-de-Calais, where the distance to England is only 33 km. On a clear day, the chalk cliffs of the English coast are clearly visible. The lighthouse on the cape is the landmark. The region is characterized by the many bunkers and bombing craters related to war scenes. The estate is also part of the Grand Site des Deux Caps nature reserve. The walking route has a (temporary?) deviation because erosion causes the rocks to break and is too dangerous on the hiking trail. The views of both the sea or the land do not get bored when hiking. Free parking, a little busy, at the lighthouse for cars and motorhomes, GPS: Route du Cap, Audinghen.
