The Dune de Wulf and the Dune Marchand are part of a continuous dune landscape between Dunkirk and De Panne, the Dunes of Flanders. These are areas of vast, contiguous and protected dunes with a great diversity of fauna and flora. The landscape offers a wide variety: unspoilt pieces of nature, high dunes, sandy or grassy paths and beautiful dune forests. You'll also travel through time, passing the relics of the Atlantic Wall, a 5,300-km-long line of defense from the Germans during World War II. The indications of the junctions are not as clear everywhere, but with the map a little orientation it is an inspiring walk.
