The route offers a blend of orchards, meadows, forest, and stream. View of the neighboring hills of Dordogne (château de Hautefort), followed by a wide panorama from the north to the limestone hills of Ayen and Saint Robert to the south. Then, descend towards the stream and ascend into the forest. The walk can be extended by a stroll through the streets of Juillac among the characterful houses with slate roofs.
