This 6 km variant of the "Les villages" circuit starting from Bugeat leads on ancestral paths connecting the villages. Once taken by students going to school, farmers to the fields, and women to the market, they are now favored by hikers. This "re-discovery" also marks the revival of hamlets, main or secondary residences of owners captivated by the granite, the emblematic material of the Plateau.
