This ridge walk follows the old path of a narrow-gauge railway, then the GR 46, and offers very beautiful viewpoints over the Monédières as well as the Troh valley. A fragment of the old metal road, it is thought to have been used in part as early as the Bronze Age to reach the Mediterranean from the mouth of the Loire.
