The stream of Tiourre, one of the treasures of an Ardèche valley

This hike starts from the paid parking lot near the viewpoint at the Pont d'Arc. The parking lot is also the endpoint of the free bus that operates in the high season from the tourist office in Vallon Pont d'Arc.

The goal of the hike is the Source du Tiourre and Le moulin du Tiourre. The Source de Tiourre is the spot where the stream Ruisseau du Tiourre flows out of the rocks. In the summer, it's just a small trickle of water. The spring is fenced off.

Le moulin du Tiourre is the remains of an old watermill. This spot is definitely worth a visit. There's a nice swimming spot here.

The first part of the hike to the spring is a fairly easy path. You can cover quite some distance here. The second part is a bit more challenging, as sometimes you need to overcome an obstacle.

Only in the second part do you see streams of water and nice spots to stop for a photo.
