A short and fairly easy cycle ride in the Drôme Provençale on good roads with little car traffic. Shortly after the departure, the easy climb of the Col de L'Homme begins. Then it goes downhill to les Crupies in the Roubion valley. We follow the river downstream via Bourdeaux and Saou to Pont-de-Barret. Between Bourdeaux and Saou we have a view to the north of the beautiful ridge formed by the Grand Pomerolle, Les Aiguilles and Roche Colombe, typical rock formations of the Forêt de Saou. Between Saou and Pont-de-Barret, the Roubion valley is particularly picturesque. From Pont-de-Barret it goes through more open countryside taken up by fields and meadows. From Souspierre it goes slightly uphill on the busier D540 to Dieulefit. There is a space for bicycles on the side of the road. Along the way we get a nice view of Le Poët-Laval.
