This walk from valley to causse provides numerous viewpoints over the Célé, its cliffs and Mediterranean vegetation, the meadows and cultivated fields in the valley bottom. Of all the parts of the causse, the overhanging ledges above the rocky "adrets" (south-facing cliffs) are by far the hottest, thus enabling many Mediterranean plants to grow in Quercy. For example, it's here you find a variety of jasmine (jasmine fruticans) easily recognised by its yellow flowers, or the terebinth, with small flowers and bright red berries. As for the high, steep cliffs, they are home to ravens, rooks and peregrine falcons.
