Of its Roman origins, "Romanacum" has kept very few traces. Romenay made its fame around its folklore and its heritage and became in 1937 "Rural Village of France" at the Universal Exhibition in Paris. Once you have passed through the door of the West or the East, you will have the impression of crossing another era and you will be under the charm of this medieval village made of bricks and timber frames.
