A tributary of the Aisne, the Retz is made up of streams from the state-owned forest of the same name. The day's itinerary to enter and leave the forest, giving rise to beautiful viewpoints and the discovery of a rich heritage: the churches of Dommiers and Saint-Pierre-Aigle, the former fortified abbey farm of La Glaux, with its Renaissance dwelling and its octagonal dovecote.
