Description by the author

Very nice hike on the west side of the Bruche valley. The rock of Mutzig, 1010m high, offers a remarkable view over the valley and the surrounding massifs such as the Donon, the Schneeberg and the Champ du feu. The Stone Gate is a natural monument of pink sandstone sculpted by erosion. It is an astonishing discovery that this boulder, perched there as if it came out of nowhere, plunges you into half a dream.
