Gouvieux - Par mont et par vaux, chez les godviciens

After parking along the avenue after the campsite, turn right onto the
chemin de Trossy which runs alongside the fields.
Continue straight ahead (admire the priory church of Saint-Leu-d?Esserent on the opposite bank of the Oise).
At the end of the path, before reaching the road, take the small road to the right and climb up. At the top of the hill, continue along the road.
At the crossroads in the middle of the fields (go straight on for a round-trip variation, + 2 km, to discover the troglodyte houses). To continue the hiking loop, turn right (left when returning from the alternative route) and continue as far as the walnut tree alley, taking it to the left.
At the end, turn right and walk along the field. Go downhill, cross the small road and, at the bottom, reach avenue de Toutevoie.
To the ponds: turn left, then right to cross the bridge over the river
Nonette. Turn right after the wooden chicane, and go as far as the metal barrier.
Go through the metal barrier and turn right to join the
the Oise. At Hotellerie Saint Hubert, turn right to get back onto
avenue de Toutevoie.
Turn left, skirting the wood. At the end of the wood, turn right
join the parking lot and begin the tour of the pond....
Walk alongside the pond, almost all the way round.
Take the left-hand path across the field. Turn right along the La Nonette river to reach the "Pavillon St Hubert" hotel. Turn right onto the road along the banks of the river Oise and right again onto Avenue de Toutevoie...

Troglodytic houses option (20-minute round trip; 1.1 km round trip):
Go right towards the houses, and at the end of the path take the street to the right. Continue on the small road and keep to the right to take the dead-end street where the troglodyte houses are located, then retrace your steps back to the hiking loop.
