A fairly short but spicy loop cycling route that starts in Boechèpe, a village just over the French border.
We not only explore some French-Flemish hills, but we also cycle through four villages that received the label 'Village de Flandre' due to their picturesque character and the surrounding natural beauty. It is a continuous enjoyment of stunning vistas throughout the entire bike ride!
The ride goes from Boechèpe to Godewaersvelde, before climbing the flank of the Katsberg (164 meters) for the first time. Then it's towards Saint-Jans-Cappel and the Zwarteberg (152 meters). On the flank of this hill lies the departmental park Marguerite Yourcenar. Via Berthen we return to the Katsberg with its famous Trappist abbey. Finally, we cycle over the Boeschèpeberg (129 meters) back to the village of the same name.
