From Etel to Quiberon via La Littorale

This stage of La Littorale begins in the peaceful harbor of Etel and you cycle through to the mouth of the Ria to discover the Barre d'Etel, a sandbank in perpetual motion. As you continue on this bike route, you will pass the large dune massif, a Grand Site of France, that majestically stretches from Gâvres to Quiberon. On your way to Erdeven, you can admire the mysterious Kerzerho lines, evidence of the various neolithic periods in Brittany.

Definitely not to be missed

• Quiberon: Turpault Castle, Grande Plage, Pointe du Conguel, Port Haliguen and Port Maria, the Gâvres-Quiberon site, a large dune massif with the label Grand Site of France. From Quiberon, you can board for the islands of Belle-Ile-en-Mer, Houat and Hoedic.
• Etel: the harbor and the tuna boat museum, the Etel bar, an underwater sandbank shaped by the currents meeting at the entrance of the Ria, where the tide meets the flow of the river.
• Saint Cado Island, a must-see in the Ria d'Etel, with its famous house with blue shutters.
