Stroll along the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, along the streets and squares in Saint-Maxime

Sainte-Maxime , situated on the sunny Gulf of Saint-Tropez, is a charming seaside resort where the Provençal atmosphere blends harmoniously with Mediterranean elegance. The town offers a perfect blend of charming squares , authentic markets , fine sandy beaches , and a lively town center full of shops, restaurants, and art galleries. Start at the harbour car park.

We first stroll past the pleasure boats on the water and learn that this is where the landings of World War II took place. #Sainte-Maxime is an ideal photo opportunity, and further along the beach lies the venerable Casino Barrière.

We head into the city and arrive at the shopping and restaurant district via Place Pasteur . We walk past Place du Marché and the Marché Couvert along Rue Hoche and back along Rue Paul Bert , passing among the many restaurants.

After Place Victor Hugo, we return to the starting point, passing the cannons, the church, and the Tour Carré, just about the only historical thing the city has to offer besides the Second World War.
