The Circuit des Etangs in Saint-Gildas-de-Rhuys is a lovely 12.8-kilometer hike. It's easy to get to, and this well-marked loop takes you through enchanting landscapes, mostly along unpaved trails. Along the way, you can check out the Abbey of Saint-Gildas de Rhuys, a historical gem, and the Menhir of Kermaillard, a fascinating relic.
