The Vosges-Pyrénées trail crosses the Pays de Langres from Serqueux to Lamargelle-aux-Bois on the edge of Côte d'Or. Crossing our territory will allow you to discover the spa town of Bourbonne-les-Bains, the Coiffy vineyard, the Presles chapel..., before entering the Land of the 4 lakes.
There, you will follow the northern shore of Lake Liez before joining the towpath of the Marne to Saône canal, finally climbing the slopes of the plateau to the city of Langres. After relaxing in one of the 7 hotels of the protected sector, you can head to Lake Mouche, then the valley of the same name to Haut du Sec, the highest point of Haute-Marne (516 m): a magnificent panorama of the city of Langres.
Next, you will need to cross the state forest of Auberive. Between valleys and forest roads, you will discover a rich flora and fauna. Upon arriving at the village of Auberive, another stop is necessary to discover its abbey and its two-water promenade... Finally, you will need to head south to reach the Côte d'Or department by taking the Val Clavin, then the woods of the reserve until Vivey, and finally Lamargelle-aux-Bois.
