A great loop between nature and leisure:
With its 16 km of marked trail (allow about 3h30), the tour of Lake Liez is a wonderful adventure to share with family! The departure is at the foot of the dam, then you follow the Vaucouleur channel until the Chaspussin woods, where footbridges and small bridges enhance the path. You then cross wooded and marshy areas that are very easy to access, before following the GR7, which offers a magnificent viewpoint over the lake and the town of Langres. The route continues along the edge of fields and forests, with welcome picnic areas. At the end of the loop, a refreshing stop awaits you at the aquatic base: swimming, pedal boats, sailing, water skiing, towed buoy... or simply relaxing on the beach. And why not enjoy a gourmet break at the harbor?

A significant ecological and ornithological value: while Lake Villegusien is certainly of interest for observing water birds, Lake Liez is equally rich. For this, you will need to move away from the activity area near the dam to prefer the tranquility of the "Lecey bay." There, small marshy areas and the presence of mudflats make the site attractive for nesting bird species such as coots, grebes, herons...
