A path winding through rocks with curious and impressive shapes. Numerous curiosities await you, including the Haute Pierre, an ancient construction site of the Haute Pierre castle, which will offer you a superb view of the entire Rabodeau and Meurthe valley. The rocks along the circuit also have significance as some have been given names. The Croix de Malfosse, in particular, is a pilgrimage site frequently visited by the people of the valley (see also the Circuit of the Chapelle de Malfosse). Overlooking the majestic abbey of Moyenmoutier and its splendid recently restored gardens, the site of Haute Pierre was home to a place of worship for Mercury, of which fragments of a stele bearing his likeness are displayed at the Musée Pierre Noël in Saint-Dié-des-Vosges.
