Between the emerging German Nied and the Saar, the aquatic Maginot Line, built before World War II, whose operation has been faithfully reconstructed by volunteers, allows us to understand this ingenious system of defensive flooding: bunkers, anti-tank wagons, reservoir ponds, ... These wetlands are also of great floral and faunal richness, presented on interesting educational materials.
